スペイン人アーティスト、ジョアン・ミロ（Joan Miró）の作品集。1972年10月から11月までニューヨークの「アクアヴェッラ・ギャラリー（Acquavella Galleries）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。本展は、「メモリアル・スローン・ケタリングがんセンター（Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center / MSKCC）」の小児科病棟のために開催された。

アメリカの美術館や個人蔵作品より貸し出された絵画やパステル作品を掲載。他にも、年表、美術史家であるダグラス・クーパー（Douglas Cooper）によるエッセイを収録する。

It was published on the occasion of an exhibition at Acquavella Galleries New York (October 18-November 18, 1972). The exhibition was held to benefit The Pediatric Pavilion of The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

It includes an essay by Douglas Cooper, a chronology, and photographs of the works on loan to the exhibition.
