本書では、都市を歩き回るなかで目にした断片を視覚と音によるスコアへと変換する作者の実践をたどる。キュレーターのセルジオ・マー（Sérgio Mah）と作家で批評家のオリヴィア・レイン（Olivia Laing）によるテキスト、美術批評家のベン・ルーク（Ben Luke）との対談を収録し、日常の都市生活に潜むリズムや詩情を明らかにするとともに、視覚芸術、大衆文化、現代の音響表現が交差する作者の実践に迫る。
