ベルリンを拠点に活動するアイルランド人アーティスト、ファーガス・フィーリー（Fergus Feehily）の作品集。油絵具、絨毯の留鋲、アクリル、ジェッソ、グワッシュ、小枝、時にはスプレーペイント、鉛筆、水彩のタッチ、ファウンド・フォトやフレーム、包帯、1-2枚の紙袋、ネジ、アルミホイル、お菓子の包み、端材。このような些細な物が作者の絵画の中で邂逅をとげる。現代絵画におけるありふれた慣習の周辺に佇む絵画それ自体の「繊細な活動」について、美術評論家のマーティン・ハーバート（Martin Harbart）は「視界の外に漂いどこか別の場所へいく途上にある」と述べる。

本書はこれまでの作者の活動の中で最も包括的なモノグラフである。15年以上にわたり制作されてきた100点を超える作品とともに、作者のアーカイブから、切り抜きやノート及び研究資料、更にはアーヘンからメキシコシティ、そして東京を舞台とした展覧会が紹介されている。

マーティン・ハーバート、キュレーターのクリス・シャープ（Chris Sharp）、アーティストであるサラ・ブラーマン（Sarah Braman）によるエッセイを収録。ブラーマンが書き表すような「ただ見ることの喜び」を呼び起こしてくれる作者のあり方を讃えている。

Feehily's monograph, the most comprehensive on the artist to date, brings into view more than one-hundred works made over fifteen years alongside clippings, notes, and research material from the artist's archive as well as exhibitions staged from Aachen to Mexico City to Tokyo. Essays by Martin Herbert, curator Chris Sharp, and artist Sarah Braman celebrate Feehily's reminder of, as writes the latter, "the joy of just looking."
