アメリカ人アーティスト、リチャード・アーシュワーガー（Richard Artschwager）の作品集。2003年5月から7月にかけてベルリンの「ドイツ・グッゲンハイム美術館（Deutsche Guggenheim）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。
同展では、1965年から2003年にかけて制作された45点のドローイング、オブジェ、絵画、マルチプルが展示された。作者は、現代美術を代表する重要な存在のひとりであり、ポップ・アート、ミニマル・アート、コンセプチュアル・アート、ニュー・スカルプチャーの境界を探究してきた。
絵画のみならず、彫刻やドローイングにおいても、その作品には一貫してミニマリズムへの志向が認められる。本書は豊富な図版によって作品を紹介するとともに、解説文も収録している。

45 drawings, objects, paintings and multiples from 1965 to 2003 were shown in the exhibition to which this accompanying catalogue was published. Artschwager is one of the most influencial contemporary artists and has been exporing the boundaries of pop-, minimal-, conceptual art and new sculpture.
Still, not only in his paintings but also concerning his sculptures and drawings, his work always shows his devotion to minimalism. This catalogue not only shows his work in various illustrations but also contains introductory texts.
