アメリカ人映画監督、ウェス・アンダーソン（Wes Anderson）の作品集。パリの「シネマテーク・フランセーズ（Cinémathèque française）」とロンドンの「デザイン・ミュージアム（Design Museum）」が作者と共同企画した、2025年3月19日から2026年7月27日まで開催されている自身作品の初の回顧展に伴い刊行された。

本書はそのような物語に捧げるものであり、作者の30年以上の映画活動の功績を称える一冊である。キャリアの初期から、ノート、ドローイング、絵画、ポラロイド、小道具、人形、セット、衣装など、作品にまつわる豊かな資料を保存してきており、この作品集に収められたそれらの資料は、オーウェン・ウィルソン（Owen Wilson）、ジェイソン・シュワルツマン（Jason Schwartzman）、スカーレット・ヨハンソン（Scarlett Johansson,）、ティルダ・スウィントン（Tilda Swinton）、作曲家アレクサンドル・デスプラ（Alexandre Desplat）、ミュージシャンのセウ・ジョルジ（Seu Jorge）、ミュージック・スーパーバイザーのランダル・ポスター（Randall Poster）といった長年の協働者たちによってさらに引き立てられる。

作者自身が作品と制作プロセスを語る長編インタビューも収録する。

This book is dedicated to these stories and celebrates Anderson's over 30 years in cinema. From the start of his career, Anderson has maintained a rich library of notebooks, drawings, paintings, polaroids, props, puppets, sets and costumes from his films.

The objects shown here are enhanced and illuminated by Anderson's long-time collaborators: Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton; composter Alexandre Desplat, musician Seu Jorge; and music supervisor Randall Poster.

Also included: an extensive interview with Anderson himself, reflecting on his films and working process.

Wes Anderson: The Archives accompanies the first retrospective exhibition of Anderson's work, curated by la Cinémathèque française in Paris and the Design Museum in London in partnership with Wes Anderson.
