日本人写真家、野田祐一郎の作品集。約10年にわたる作者の活動と実践が一冊にまとめられている。

本書は目に見えるものの記録ではなく、感じるもの、すなわち、今にも消えてしまいそうな儚い瞬間の記録である。多くの人が聞き逃してしまうようなわずかな音に耳を傾け、一音一音を丁寧に掬い上げるように、そのまなざしは「視る」ことにとどまらず、さまざまな感覚を通していっそう研ぎ澄まされていく。

そうした写真にとって、光、水、空気といった要素は「自然」を表現するためのものではなく、呼吸がごく自然に体に宿るように、フレームの中におのずと存在する。

ページを折る、切る――そうした物理的な介入は、予期せぬ視覚の交差を生み出し、鑑賞者と写真のあいだに思いがけないリズムをもたらす。それは、写真を見るという行為そのものを触覚的な体験へと変えてしまう。

Designed and edited by Any Other Name, the book thoughtfully mirrors Noda’s nuanced approach. Select pages are folded or cut to create intentional visual collisions, encouraging readers to engage physically with the content. These interventions introduce unexpected rhythms, transforming the act of viewing into a tactile, almost performative experience.
