アメリカ人フォトグラファー、フランチェスカ・ウッドマン（Francesca Woodman）の作品集。2015年にNYの「Marian Goodman Gallery」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。13歳で写真を撮り始め、22歳で自殺するまでヌード、セルフ・ポートレート作品を中心に作品制作を行ってきた作者の、主に1978年から1980年の間にNYで制作されたファッション写真に焦点を当てている。これら一連の初期の作品のインスピレーションには、シュールレアリスムの伝統とゴシック的な傾向が垣間見える。

Published on the occasion of the exhibition Francesca Woodman: I'm trying my hand at fashion photography at Marian Goodman Gallery, New York February 12 - March 13, 2015. The show featured numerous, rarely seen photographs that Woodman was making towards the end of her life in New York. Includes an essay by Alison Gingeras.
